Privacy Policy

Dream Giants (“Dream Giants”, “we”, “us” or “our”) takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal data when you visit or interact with our website, in accordance with applicable data protection law, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).

I. Controller and contact details

The controller within the meaning of Art. 4 (7) GDPR is:

Gabriela Yordanova Lassallestrasse 7 1020 Vienna Austria Email: marketing@dream-giants.com Phone: +395885844888

This Portuguese version of the Website is operated from Austria. The GDPR applies to the processing of data of visitors in Portugal.

II. What data we process

Legal bases, depending on the activity: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (consent), lit. b (pre-contractual steps at your request), lit. c (legal obligation) and/or lit. f (legitimate interest in operating, securing and improving the Website). We do not intentionally collect special categories of data (Art. 9 GDPR).

  • Request form data: business name, phone number and email.
  • If you have consented to marketing: the Google click id and the campaign tags (UTM) of the campaign that brought you to the Website, stored with your request.
  • A record of your cookie choice (random, anonymous id, the choices made, date and page language), without IP address, so that we can demonstrate your consent.
  • Technical data generated when you visit the Website (for example IP address, browser type, date and time of access), processed by our hosting provider to deliver the page.
  • Your language and region choice and your cookie choice, stored in first-party cookies (see section V).
  • Optional analytics data about page views, only if you have given consent.

III. Country-based language and market selection

1. How it works

When you open our home page without a link to a specific language, our hosting provider determines the country of your request from your IP address at the moment of the request and passes only the two-letter country code to our application. If the country is Portugal, we show the Portuguese version of the Website. We do not store the IP address or the detected country in our own systems, do not build a profile from it and do not use it for advertising. Search engine crawlers are not redirected.

2. Your choice takes precedence

You can switch the language at any time with the language buttons. Only that explicit choice is stored, in the “dg_locale” cookie described in section V, and from then on it takes precedence over country detection.

3. Legal basis

Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in showing the Website in the version relevant to your location).

IV. Website access and server logs

1. Description

When you access the Website, our systems and those of our hosting provider automatically process technical information required to deliver the page, including browser type, IP address, and date and time of access. This information may be stored in server logs and is not combined with other personal data for marketing profiling.

2. Legal basis and storage period

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (IT security and system stability). Logs are retained only as long as needed for these purposes and then deleted or anonymised.

V. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use necessary cookies to run the Website securely, to remember your language choice (only after you click a language button) and to store your cookie preferences. Analytics and marketing are optional and are only enabled after you consent in the cookie notice, separately for each category. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under “Cookie settings” in the footer, with effect for the future. This processing follows Law no. 41/2004 (privacy in electronic communications) and the GDPR.

List of cookies and similar technologies used:

Legal basis

To prove consent we keep an anonymous record of your choice (Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR in conjunction with the duty to demonstrate consent under Art. 7 (1)), which we keep as long as needed for that purpose and for three years at most.

VI. Marketing and remarketing (optional)

1. Description

If you accept the “Marketing” category we load the Google Ads tag. Google may then set cookies in your browser to measure whether one of our ads led to a request and to show you our ads on other websites and apps that take part in Google’s advertising networks (remarketing). In that case Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC process data jointly with us or on our behalf under Google’s data protection terms for advertising. Without your consent the tag is not loaded and no data is sent to Google. You can withdraw consent at any time; Google’s cookies are then deleted and the tag stops collecting data.

2. Campaigns and requests

With marketing consent we store the Google click id and the campaign tags of your visit in your browser for up to 90 days and, if you send a request, save them with that request to evaluate which campaigns work. A request of yours is only reported to Google as a conversion with this consent.

3. Legal basis and storage period

Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (consent) and Art. 5 of Law no. 41/2004. Marketing cookies last up to 90 days and remarketing lists keep visitors for 90 days at most.

VII. Request form and contact

1. Description

2. Legal basis

Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual steps at your request) and, where applicable, lit. f (legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries).

3. Storage period

We retain the request for as long as needed to handle it and, if no contract results, for a maximum of 12 months, unless a longer period is required by law.

VIII. Recipients and international transfers

We use service providers who process data on our behalf: Website hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), email notifications (Resend) and, when we write to you, the WhatsApp service (Meta). If you consent to marketing, Google (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC) receives the data described in section VI. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

IX. Your rights and complaints

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in section I. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD, www.cnpd.pt) or the Austrian data protection authority (Datenschutzbehörde).

X. Changes

We may update this policy when the Website or the law changes. The version in force is the one published on this page.
